In Alcoholics Anonymous the Netherlands, people from all corners of society; young and old, men and women of all professions and different social backgrounds come together at meetings.

The purpose of all AA group meetings, as our Preamble states, is for AA members to share “their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism”. Going to an AA meeting is simple. You find out where and when there is a meeting and you just turn up. That’s it. Please note that no notification is needed to participate in a meeting.
